PRIVACY NOTICE FOR THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

info@mollificiobortolussi.com, acting as personal data controller (otherwise known as “Controller”), provides this privacy policy to the concerned party according to European and Italian legislation on protection of personal data.

Purpose and legal basis for processing

The controller process the personal data for different purposes:

1. Follow up the requests received, for instance information about our products or services (sending of brochures, catalogue a/o other material), obtaining a quotation etc.: in these cases, the consent is not required, as we have to process the data in order to give feedback to the requests.

2. Use the e-mail address to carry out public opinion & customer satisfaction surveys, convey commercial communications about our products or services, promotions or invitations to events where the data controller will participate: For these purposes, the express consent is required.

Personal data retention purposes

The Data Controller intends to process the data according to the following temporal criteria:

• If any information or quotation is required, the data will be used as long as needed in order to satisfy or give feedback, with the exception of further storage needed for the definition of potential claims.

• For purposes 2), the data will be used for commercial business communication or until possible withdrawal of consent.

Nature of the provision of data and consequences in case of refusal

The provision of data for the purposes referred to in point 1) is necessary and therefore any refusal to provide data in whole or in part may make it impossible for the Data Controller to pursue above-mentioned purposes. The Data Controller will not disclose the data, but intends to communicate them to internal staff authorized to process the data on the basis of their respective duties, as well as to commercial agents, credit institutions, credit insurance companies, credit recovery, commercial information, factoring, consultancy, to associations and / or business organizations, to professionals or service companies including those in the IT field of assistance, consultancy and hosting, as well as to public and private organizations, also in case of inspections and audits. These recipients, should they process data on behalf of the Data Controller, will be appointed as data processors with a specific contract or other legal act.

For newsletters, the Company uses the Mailchimp platform, whose servers are located in the USA: please notice that the company has resorted to standard contractual clauses to legitimize this transfer..

Rights of data subjects

The interested party has the right to ask the Data Controller to access their personal data and to rectify them if they are inaccurate, to delete them or limit their processing if the conditions are met, to oppose their processing for legitimate interests pursued by the Data Controller, as well as to obtain the portability of data personally provided only if subject to automated processing based on consent or contract. The interested party also has the right to revoke the consent given for the processing purposes that require it, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing carried out up to the time of revocation.
